What kind of time do we need for photos?
I like to have one hour for wedding party and wedding couple photos. Whether we do those before of after the ceremony. I like to do family photos right after Ceremony and that could take 15 to 30 minutes depending on how big your families are. I would love to have a conversation and help you come up with a timeline to makes sense for your day.
Do you do posed photos?
Yes, 100%. I always do a few traditional posed photos of Family, Wedding Party and Wedding Couple. Not all of them are like that. I just know from experience those are timeless and parents love those on the fridge!
Do you work from a shot list?
Nope. I’ve been shooting wedding for over 20yrs and I’m very aware what shots are needed and it can truly hinder the flow of creativity. Now if there is a very specific photo you are wanting. Like, a family heirloom, or someone very special by all means yes! Please tell me. We also go over this topic on our final conversation before your wedding.
But I don’t need a full day of photography.
Not looking for a full wedding day coverage, no problem. We can also do an hourly rate. Just like the collections you will get all high-resolution images on a downloadable link and private gallery with printing and sharing rights. OR looking to elope? We do a lot of the leg work for you. ELOPE YES!
Do you shoot with a 2nd shooter?
Not normally, I mostly shoot alone. But we can talk about your day and what that looks like. Sometimes a 2nd shooter is 100% needed. It’s not that I’m appose to having a 2nd shooter, I’m very use to shooting alone and very comfortable doing so. A 2nd shooter is an additional cost.
Can we see a full gallery?
Yes, 100%
How many images do we receive?
Depends on hours covered, but an average wedding is 8 hours and you can expect to receive 800 - 1000.
Do you have a travel fee for Michigan or travel outside of Michigan?
There is no travel fee for Lower Michigan. If we need to travel to the UP, it’s an additional $100.
YES, LET’S GO! I do travel outside of Michigan. and that is a flat travel fee, I take care of all my arrangements.
